Kiawah Island is a residential resort community approximately 20 miles south of Charleston. The community is about 11 square miles and has a population of about 1,600 full time residents which swells in the summer tourism months. The island features miles of Beaches, several pools, shops, and six award winning golf courses. The island was home to the 1991 Ryder Cup, 2012 PGA Championship and future home to the 2021 PGA championship. Guest can also stay at the five star rated Sanctuary Inn at Kiawah. There are numerous homes and villas available for rent on a weekly basis. Homes and villas on the island range from about $150,000 to multimillion dollar estates that are home to the worlds rich and famous.
